Free ISACA IT Audit Fundamentals Course – Join Our 8-Week Learning Cohort!

The Prince George’s County Technology Council, in partnership with the National CyberWatch Center, is excited to offer a fully-funded opportunity for 10 members to enroll in the ISACA IT Audit Fundamentals course — including a free certificate exam voucher, valued at over $300.

This 8-week cohort, running from May 12, 2025 to July 3, 2025, is self-paced to fit your schedule, with optional weekly group meetings to support collaborative learning, discussion, and accountability.

We’re building a diverse and inclusive cohort — whether you're new to the field, transitioning from another tech domain, or a seasoned professional pursuing certification, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experience levels.

What You’ll Gain:

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with foundational knowledge in IT auditing, including:

  • Understanding of IT audit standards, frameworks, and best practices

  • Familiarity with risk-based audit planning and execution

  • Ability to assess internal controls and governance processes

  • Knowledge of IT general controls (ITGCs), system development life cycle (SDLC), and change management

  • Skills to identify, evaluate, and report audit findings

  • Preparation to sit for the ISACA IT Audit Fundamentals Certificate exam

Eligibility: Open to members of the Prince George’s County Technology Council from all professional backgrounds

Please note: Only current Prince George’s County Technology Council members are eligible for consideration. Becoming a paid member does not guarantee a spot in this pilot cohort, as space is limited.
